We finnished the room today after lots and lots of hard work. Jerry did the floors in laminate flooring about 8 months ago (the weekend we found out i was pregnant).and also did the blinds a few months ago too. we've been gathering our bits and pieces in our colour scheme to put it all together.We've had so much fun doing this little project together for our little boy.

We are so excited to bring our little boy home to his new little room all ready for him.

We are suposed to be going in for a ceasor this time next week (tues) but theatre is full so we have to take the next available date 12 feb.But i suppose i better enjoy this last little while in peace and quiet so i should be grateful for 2 extra days.

This week has been the begining of my maternity leave.Its been a very busy 2 days,running around doing things for work so i can hand over in confidence. so i havent had much of a 'holiday' feeling just yet.but my intention is to get as much rest,time doing things with jerry and things i enjoy on my own before DDay!

Its finally dawned on me in the last few days that our lives are going to change so drastically. Jerry and i will now have to share each other and our time. Im so used to doing things on the spur of the moment together, like going for a movie or dinner or dropping into a friend. and now its going to be a whole new ball game.Theres no such thing as 'spur of the moment' with a baby i suppose.it will be more like a few hrs of prep before we even get out the door.

I will miss the time jerry and i have together on our own but at the same time we are so excited to be extending our little home and our hearts to another member of the Haldane clan! What a privilage it is to have the opportunity to raise a perfect little soul sent straight form Heaven...
